Later on, Mrs Rosse take us on a short tour around the company office and its compound. Me myself, and two other students from UNITEN are then assign to each personal supervisor and I've been assign to working under the supervision of Mr. Tan Kim Guan (Senior Project Manager).
We are also instructed to fill in the application/bio form and the stationaries are distributed (upon request)
6 April 2010 - Introduce to Mayland Construction (Hartamas) by Mr Sazali (Site Engineer) who are also working under the supervision of Mr Tan. He took me to the construction site and did a site walk within the site compound to familiarized myself with the working environment. He also taught me about the basic of drawing (site plan, floor plan) and show the location of the company toolbox(storeroom) and all the equipment that belongs to the company. The foreman of the site are also introduced. Later, Mr Sazali explained to me about the springklers system and how it works.
7 April 2010 - Followed Mr Sazali to Carrefour Kota Damansara Site to make an inspection for defects or damages. While at the site, I've been showed to the pump room and learnt about the types of pump (duty pump, standby pump, jockey pump). Later on that day, I went to the Mayland site and done the (as built drawing inspection at basement 4 and supervise the welding work
8 April 2010 - Done a thorough inspection for the piping system around Basement 1 and Basement 2 at the Mayland site
9 April 2010 - Retrieved the full set drawing from Mr Meor (Mayland shop-lots, offices, and service apartments) and the drawing for TNB substation
10 April 2010 - The main pumps arrived at the site consisting 6 duty pump, 3 jockey pump and others and later the pump are move to their designated place.
